Welcome to the Blog created to chronicle the efforts required to bring a Women’s Professional Soccer team to Northern California. My name is Scott Kucirek and I am an entrepreneur and super soccer enthusiast who spends most of his afternoons and weekends coaching his two daughters and their teammates in the beautiful game. When I learned about the WPS and realized that there wasn’t an ownership group in place, I dedicated my life to make sure that one of the country’s best female soccer markets has a team for the 2009 season. Unfortunately I only started my journey on March 1, 2008, so I need any help I can get.
